CHENNAI: A large number of domestic workers affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Domestic Workers Federation staged a dharna here on Tuesday demanding social security. A Federation release also urged the State Government to issue a notification fixing minimum wages for the workers.
Guidelines
It demanded guidelines for employment conditions and safety of domestic workers, especially those from rural areas.
