Two arrested for stealing jewellery from temple

Bangalore:
The Banashankari police have arrested two persons on charges of stealing the gold necklace from the idol of Durga Parameshwari in a temple in Banashankari. The police have recovered the gold necklace worth Rs. 25,000. The police gave the names of the accused as Chandra (20) and Manjunath (45).
Driver held
The Upparpet police have arrested Sriram (28) on the charge of stealing a diamond necklace on March 21. The accused, who was working as a driver of Anjanappa, a resident of Viveknagar, had reportedly stolen the necklace kept in the car.
