All major corporate houses will soon start investing in rural markets creating a wide scope for management jobs. He said that many companies such as Karvy Consultants and Bajaj Allianz are placing demands for management students for jobs in rural marketing, and many corporates prefer local candidates with management skills as they are familiar with local market and prospective customers there. Mr. Prabhakar said that all students of the first batch of postgraduate diploma in Business Administration from the ICFAI National College have been placed in reputed companies. Narasingh Rao, principal of the college, said that the highlight of the management course offered by the college is the four months' summer internship focussed on job training.
