Children shine at annual concert

CHENNAI:
Fun, joy and celebrity talk marked Vael's Billabong High International School's annual concert on Saturday. Kangaroo Kids (kindergarten children) performed various jigs with aplomb under the theme "Sweet Dreams are made of these ... "
Actor Kamal Haasan, chief guest of the event, was all praise for the school management in creating a truly international school that was cute and enviable.
Y.G. Parthasarathy, dean, Padma Seshadri Group of Schools, chided the parents for being measly in their appreciation of the kids, who gave a natural and wonderful performance. She credited Ishari Ganesh, chairman of the school, for the efforts taken to shape the school. Students of Billabong High (students from Class I to V) presented a program on legendary personalities.
