Hizb-ul-Mujahideen operates from PoK: militant

NEW DELHI:
A suspected Hizb-ul-Mujahideen `commander' for Kashmir, arrested here on Tuesday has allegedly disclosed that the terrorist outfit operates from Abotabad in Mansera area of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
The outfit runs two training camps at Boei and Garhi Habibullah. Mehrajuddin (26) is a resident of Badgam in Kashmir. During interrogation, he allegedly said that he joined the outfit in September 2000 after which he was sent to PoK along with five other men for training.
He underwent physical training for six months at Boie after which he was trained to handle grenades, mines and other sophisticated weapons.
