The following are among the information furnished to the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange by the companies concerned.

Torrent Gujarat Biotech said it had purchased a manufacturing facility in Baroda for Rs. 55 crore from Sterling Biotech. The transaction, an all-cash deal, was completed on Thursday.

Xpro India has commenced commercial production in the first phase of its thermosetting resin manufacturing plant at Ranjangaon, Pune district (Maharashtra) from March 30, 2006.

Crest Animation Studios said it would raise $12 million through the issue of Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds (FCCBs) from international markets. The company has also decided to increase its authorised share capital to Rs. 30 crore from Rs. 21 crore and borrowing powers from Rs. 100 crore to Rs. 200 crore.

Larsen & Toubro is planning to raise $300 million through the issue of global depository receipts and foreign currency convertible bonds. The issue of securities as above shall not result in increase of the issued and subscribed equity share capital of the company by more than 10 per cent of the enhanced and outstanding equity shares and will be subject to necessary approvals and provisions.

Financial Technologies India has said that Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd., the subsidiary of the company, has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Berhad, to explore areas of co-operation.

Titanor Components has decided to recommend a dividend of Rs. 7 per share for the year ended Dec. 31, 2005.
