Coimbatore: S. Shanmathi of Vidya Vikashini MHSS (Tirupur) and P. Shilpa of Stanes HSS (Coonoor) bagged a double medal each in the SDAT World Beaters Talent Spotting regional level athletic meet at the Pollachi Municipal Boys HSS grounds here recently.

The results: Boys: Eighth standard: 100m: P. Manoj (CMS) 13.0s. 200m: S. Vijayakumar (Amarar MGR HSS, Annur) 27.2s. 400m: Vishnu Anand (Vidya Vikashini) 1:01.4s. Long jump: K.T. Guruprasad (St. Joseph's MS, Tirupur) 5.16m. High jump: S. Rabi Ulla (GHSS, Jameen Uthukuli) 1.52m. Shot put: T. Alauddin Basha (Al Ameen MHSS, Erode) 10.82m.

Seventh standard: 100m: P. Sathish Kumar (Lakshmi Mills MS, K.N. Puram) 13.4s. 200m: A. Gokul Ravikumar (Carmel MHSS, Erode) 28.9s. 400m: L. Lakshmanamoorthy (Vidya Vikashini, Tirupur) 1:05.9s. Long jump: N. Jadesamy (GTR HSS, Gobi). High jump: P. Vimal Kumar (Saraswathy Vidyalaya MS). Shot put: A. Saravanakumar (NGNG HSS, Pollachi) 9.89m.

Girls: Eighth standard: 100m: S. Shanmathi (Vidya Vikashini, Tirupur) 14.2s. 200m: L. Keerthi Prabha (KVM, Perundurai) 29.4s. 400m: A.K.V. Anitha (SRKV, Tirupur) 1:09.3s. Long jump: A.
