Saif Ali Khan undergoes surgery

KUALA LUMPUR:
Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan underwent a successful operation for appendicitis at a hospital here on Thursday and his condition is stated to be satisfactory.
The 36-year-old national award winning actor underwent the operation at the Gleneagles Hospital.
Abdominal pain
He was admitted to the hospital after he complained of acute abdominal pain during the shoot of a commercial, hospital sources said.
Saif, who won the national award for best actor for his role in Hum Tum, was here with his girlfriend Rosa and doing the shoot when he complained of the pain, sources close to the actor said in Mumbai.
The star came to Malaysia after performing at the closing ceremony of the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne recently. — PTI
