Senior Citizen's Day tomorrow

BANGALORE: Malleswaram Senior Citizens Forum has organised the Senior Citizen's Day on April 2, a day that will feature walking competition for elders, talks and processions.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) P. Muniswami will flag off the walking contest. This will be followed by a procession led with "nadaswaram" along Sampige Road and ending at Bangalore Education Society School on Malleswaram 8th Cross.

Two senior persons from Malleswaram, former director of physical education Narasimhaiah and homoeopath Sarada Venkatasubbaiah will be felicitated on the occasion.

Mr. Leelanath Kombarbail will address the audience on "Humour in elders life."

Malleswaram Senior Citizens Forum was formed as a registered body in 2002.
