Warrant against MCD Commissioner

NEW DELHI: The Delhi High Court has issued a bailable warrant against Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) Commissioner Ashok Nigam for not complying with an order by the Court for a complete demolition of an unauthorised multi-storey building at Moti Bagh village in South-West Delhi.

Justice Pradeep Nandrajog issued the warrant in the sum of Rs. 15,000 with one surety of a like amount on a petition by a senior citizen who had spotted the unauthorised building with cosmetic demolition while passing by it.
