NEW DELHI: The Delhi High Court on Friday issued notices to the Centre, Reserve Bank of India, State Bank of India and its employees' unions on a petition filed by an account holder seeking direction restraining the SBI employees going on an indefinite strike from April 3 demanding revision in the pension scheme. A Division Bench headed by Justice Mukundan Sharma asked the respondents to file their replies by Monday. Petitioner Raghvindra Singh, has sought direction to restrain the bank unions from obstructing the normal business of the banks all over the country. A Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner, submitted that due to the strike, services at the SBI branches all over the country would be disrupted from April 3. Additional Solicitor General Gopal Subramanium, appearing for the Centre and SBI, said the Government was having negotiations with the unions and the issues might be resolved soon.- UNI
