LUCKNOW: The Congress today said that Samajwadi Party general secretary Amar Singh should have the courage to contest against party chief Sonia Gandhi in Rae Bareli rather than asking her to seek re-election from any other constituency in the State. UPCC spokesman Dwijendra Tripathi, in a statement, alleged that his (Amar Singh) status was not more than that of a middleman and said he was not ``fit enough'' to question the popularity of Gandhi. Tripathi said Gandhi had in the past won the election from Bellary Lok Sabha constituency in Karnataka.
