Rajnath to embark on yatra on April 6

BHUBANESWAR: Bharatiya Janata Party president Rajnath Singh will begin his Bharat Suraksha Yatra from Puri on April 6 morning, president of the Orissa party unit Jual Oram said here.

At a press conference, Mr. Oram said Mr. Singh's yatra would end in New Delhi on May 10, coinciding with the end of the yatra by Leader of Opposition L. K. Advani from Gujarat.

Mr. Singh's yatra would cover a distance of 633 km in Orissa. After starting his yatra from Puri, Mr. Singh will address a public meeting in Bhubaneswar the same day.

Former BJP president Venkaiah Naidu, general secretary Vinay Katiyar, yatra in-charge Vijay Goel, Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda and other leaders will be present in Puri when Mr. Singh would begin his yatra .
