BANGALORE: Four persons died in three road accidents reported from different parts of the city on Sunday. Mary Thomas (72) died on the spot when a Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation bus ran over her at the Shivaji Nagar Bus Station on Sunday. She alighted a bus and was on her way to her old age home when the accident occurred, the police said. Shivaji Nagar Traffic Police have registered a case. Two youth riding a motorcycle died on the spot after the motorcycle hit the road divider near Henur Junction on the Outer Ring Road in the early hours of Sunday. The police gave the names of the dead as Nagaraj (24), resident of Kammanahalli and a contract worker with Bangalore Electricity Supply Company, and Harish (24), a native of Nagamangala who was working at a canteen in the city. Banasawadi Traffic Police have registered a case. In another incident, Mohammed Wajid Baig (48) died on the spot when a lorry carrying sand hit his scooter in Fraser Town Traffic limits in the early hours of Sunday. Baig was a resident of DJ Halli and was working as a tailor on Commercial Street. Fraser Town Traffic Police have registered a case.
