Steps taken to shift pipeline: BWSSB

Bangalore: The Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board has said that it has taken steps to have the water pipeline shifted in reference to a photograph with "Unsafe pipeline" published in these columns on March 23.

"Our officials inspected the spot and found that a three-fourth inch diameter house connection pipe passes through an open drain at the Devara Jeevanahalli Main Road. We have disconnected the water pipeline, and asked the consumer to have it shifted," the BWSSB has said.
