Representations for inclusion in voter list under scrutiny

Eligible voters would be listed in supplementary rolls

Pondicherry: District Collector cum District Election Officer of Pondicherry G. Theva Needhi Dhas has said that a total of 10,413 applications were received from those seeking inclusion of their names as voters in the electoral rolls here. He said in a release that the Electoral Registration Officers published the voter's lists on February 24 and 25.

Their representations were now under scrutiny of the officers. The eligible voters would be included in the supplementary voter list and the supplementary list would be available for the political parties and also the candidates contesting the polls from the last day of filing of nominations.
