BJP, JD(U) reach understanding

CHENNAI: The State Unit of the BJP on Monday said it had arrived at an electoral tie up with Janata Dal (United) in Tamil Nadu, under which the latter would get five seats.

The seats allotted for the JD (U) are Kurinjipadi, Sankagiri, Vedasandur, Valparai and Manamadurai, says a release from the BJP State president, C.P. Radhakrishnan.
