ITC plans two biscuit factories
COIMBATORE:
ITC is setting up two biscuit factories at an investment of about Rs. 20 and Rs. 16 crore in Bangalore and Uttaranchal respectively, Devarajan Iyer, Brand Manager of ITC-Foods Business Division told reporters here. The company marketing biscuits under the Sunfeast brand has signed up with the Tamil film actor Surya as its brand ambassador to endorse the brand first in Tamil Nadu and then in other Southern States. ITC is planning to launch new varieties of Sunfeast like cookies, sweet and salt crackers and more differentiated products.
