Chamber's concern over bank strike

COIMBATORE: The Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Coimbatore, has expressed concern at the indefinite strike launched by the employees of State Bank of India. In a release, its president, A. Sakthivel, said business transactions and normal functioning of trade and industry had been affected by the strike. He appealed to the management of the bank and to the Central Government to intervene and sort out the issues amicably to put an end to the agitation.
