BHEL Bangalore revenue up 41 p.c.

BANGALORE: Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) here has closed 2005-06 with a record performance of Rs. 1,150 crore in revenue, a growth of 41 per cent over the previous year. The Electronics Division (EDN), Industrial Systems Group (ISG) and Electroporcelains Division (EPD) have earned a net profit of Rs. 289 crore, up 45 per cent. The order book as of March 31, 2006 is Rs. 2,434 crore, says a release.
