Dry weather likely in T.N.

CHENNAI: Mainly dry weather prevailed over south interior Karnataka and dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, North interior and coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep. On Monday, there is no significance change in maximum temperature over the region. They were appreciably above normal at one or two places over coastal Karnataka, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, above normal at a few places over rest Tamil Nadu, at one or two places over Telangana, coastal Andhra Pradesh, rest coastal Karnataka, Kerala and generally normal over rest of the region. Nizamabad recorded the highest maximum temperature of 40 degree Celsius in the region.

Forecast (valid until Thursday morning): Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over Kerala, coastal Andhra Pradesh and interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather will prevail over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Telangana, Rayalaseema, coastal Karnataka and Lakshadweep.
