State-level volleyball tournament

BANGALORE: Hutti Gold Mines Institute, Hutti will conduct a State-level invitation volleyball championship from April 6 to 9. The prize money event carries a purse of Rs.25,000 for the winner and Rs.15,000 for the runner-up.

Mounts Club basketball camp

Mounts Club, the premier State women's team, will conduct summer camp for girls at the Mount Carmel College courts here from Wednesday. Details may be had from former international Jaywanthi Shyam (Ph: 93418022121).

Cricket camps

J.P. School of Cricket under the supervision of international umpire and former Ranji player, A.V. RMTA tennis camp

Kensri inter-school tennis tournament

Kensri School will conduct an under-10 Futures tennis tournament at school courts here on April 8. Entries close on April 6. Details may be had from the organisers (Ph: 57604705).

Fischer chess championship

Fischer Chess Academy will organise a chess championship at the State Youth Centre on April 8 and 9. Players are requested to report at the venue at 1.30 p.m. The tournament will be played in the Swiss Mode and the number of entries will decide the number of rounds.
