CHENNAI: Thirteen candidates of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) on Tuesday called on Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam president M.Karunanidhi. Pattali Makkal Katchi founder S.Ramadoss, State secretary of the CPI (M) N.Varadarajan and member of the central committee T.K.Rengarajan, were present. Railway porters from various stations conveyed their gratitude to Mr.Karunanidhi at the party headquarters for intervening and preventing arbitrary suspension of their colleagues.
Medical facilities
They also requested him to use his good offices to ensure that medical facilities were available to their children.
