BELLARY: K.J. Hosur, District and Session Judge, Bellary, has sentenced Chandregowda to life imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs. 2,000 for murdering former Hospet Taluk Panchayat president M. Suryanarayan. Chandregowda had shot dead Suryanarayan when the latter was at a Republic Day function in 2003.
