Led by district secretary of APVKS K.V. Ramana, the protestors also represented to District Revenue Officer M. Sudarshan Reddy, who was there at the time. Meanwhile, response from the wage seekers to the works launched under the NREGS remains to be lukewarm as only 15,221 persons worked in the district on the first three days.
