Thrissur: Congress leader V.M. Sudheeran on Monday alleged that there were crafty manoeuvres within the Communist Party of India (Marxist) to prevent the Leader of the Opposition V. S. Achuthanandan from making it to the Assembly. Addressing an election campaign in the Ollur constituency, Mr. Sudheeran said it was still unclear who was leading the election campaign of the CPI(M). "Problems in the CPI(M) will continue even after the elections," he said. Mr. Sudheeran claimed that the current political climate was favourable to the United Democratic Front. District Congress Committee president M.P. Bhaskaran Nair inaugurated the campaign.
