SHIMLA: Congress MLA Vijay Singh Mankotia stated in the Himachal Vidhan Sabha on Tuesday that it had been more than 23 years that work on the Shimla-Jakhoo Hill ropeway could not be started. He said when he was State Tourism Minister work on this project was sanctioned to a company. But without taking any names he said he was stopped and not allowed to raise the matter in the Cabinet. "I was told to give this project to a company called Golden Forest that later on was declared bankrupt."
