NIZAMABAD : Tense situation prevailed for about two hours in Ch. Kondur village of Nandipet mandal in connection with elections to water users' association on Tuesday. According to the police, two groups belonging to the TDP and the Congress came to blows during the elections for chairman and vice-chairman of the association. Additional forces from Armoor brought the situation under control. Cases were registered against 22 persons.
