Cleanliness drive in 500 villages

Sangareddy: Medak district Collector B. Venkatesam has set a target of 500 villages for transformation as clean villages.

Addressing an orientation programme for sarpanches and village secretaries here on Tuesday, the Collector asked them to concentrate on works related to drinking water, sanitation and streetlights which are essential to receive the recognition. He informed that the district administration has made a blueprint ready to spend Rs. 370 crores on the clean village project.
