Labourer electrocuted
A labourer was electrocuted at Karkhana in Secunderabad on Tuesday. Police said G. Srinu, 20, was attending some repair works to lay new cable wires when he came in contact with live wires and suffered serious burns. He was shifted to Gandhi hospital where he died later.
A 35-year-old woman committed suicide by setting herself ablaze at her house at Bandlaguda on Monday. B. Anjamma ended her life after a quarrel with her husband Arjun over a family dispute. The incident occurred when Anjamma's family were away from the house, the police said.
Body found
A body of a woman, aged around 22, was found near Shamirpet lake on Tuesday. Police said the woman might have committed suicide by jumping into the lake. .
A 10-year-old boy died after he accidentally fell into a pond near his house at Kukatpally on Monday. According to the police, B. Rakesh Kumar, son of Shankar Lal, was drowned while swimming, the police said.
