Tanker drivers cautioned

CHENNAI: The Chennai City Traffic Police organised a meeting with sewage-clearing tanker owners' association members and drivers on Wednesday. The drivers were briefed on about the accidents, which occurred on March 23 and April 4 in which where two children and a woman had lost their lives.

The meeting resolved that vehicles will not ply between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m. and between 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Training would be given to the tanker drivers at the Institute of Road Transport.
