Lecture on Bharatiya vidya

TIRUPATI: 'Vasantha Pravachanamrutham', the series of lectures organised by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan to welcome the spring season, began on Thursday with a discourse by eminent scholar Samavedam Shanmukha Sharma, at the Bhavan's Sri Venkateswara Vidyalaya premises, Alipiri. Mr. Sharma spoke on `Bharatiya vidya', the `gurukul' style of traditional education imparted since time immemorial.
