Dry weather likely in T.N.

CHENNAI: Dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

On Wednesday, the maximum temperature rose at one or two places over south interior Karnataka, north coastal Tamil Nadu and changed little elsewhere over the region.

They were appreciably above normal at a few places over coastal Karnataka, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu at one or two places over Rayalaseema, above normal at many places over rest Rayalaseema, at a few places over rest Tamil Nadu, north interior Karnataka, at one or two places over rest coastal Andhra Pradesh and generally normal over rest of the region.

Forecast (valid until Saturday morning): Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over Kerala and coastal Karnataka. Mainly dry weather will prevail over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh, interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep.

Farmers weather bulletin for Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry (valid until the morning of 8th April 2006): Mainly sunny weather will prevail over Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.

Outlook for subsequent two days: Sunny weather.
