VISAKHAPATNAM: Her girl-next-door looks, charming smile and vivacious nature won the hearts of many. Tollywood actress Reema Sen, who was in the city for the inauguration of K-Lounge showroom, seemed charmed by the warm welcome showered on her. "I love Vizag beach," said a beaming Reema, adding "but for the unbearable heat, it's a lovely place to stay!" As she went round the store, excited fans stood at vantage points to catch a glimpse of the actress. Dressed in a perfect summer wear in a bright yellow kurti, the model-turned-actress, who made her double-debut with Minnale and a trilingual Chitram produced by Ramoji Rao, revealed her future plans and forthcoming films.
Not in a hurry
"After the success of Malamaal Weekly, I've received many Bollywood offers, but I don't want to rush into anything," she said. Apart from that, she is excited about her next action drama film Bangaram with Pavan Kalyan, directed by Dharani. Malamaal Weekly has been appreciated by many. "It was a great experience working with Priyadarshan. He is a school by himself and a very disciplined man," she said. A story about village folks, the film didn't have the essential glitz and glamour associated with commercial movies. "The fact that a simple entertaining film like this did well suggests that it's not sex or vulgarity that sells. A good script is the magical formula," she asserted. Her all-time favourites in filmdom are Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Yash Chopra and Karan Johar. "The opulence and extravagance in their films are simply superb," she added. Reema doesn't believe in a strict workout regime. "There is no use following a strict diet. If you work out three times a week, I feel that's enough," she said. And what does she do when she is not shooting for films? "I love to relax at home. It's the most wonderful way of unwinding after a tough day's work."
