L&T bags Rs. 368 cr. order from China

MUMBAI: Larsen and Toubro has secured an order valued at Rs. 368 crore ($82 million) from a major power generation company in China for supply of critical gasification equipment. The company will supply three sets of gasification equipment to Datang International Power Generation Company for its coal based olefin project in Duolun, Inner Mongolia. The equipment will be based on the reputed process technology of Shell Global Solutions.
