HYDERABAD : State BJP president N. Indrasena Reddy has said the attempt by the Telugu Desam and other regional parties to cobble up a third front was nothing but a move to remain in the limelight. "When TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu has no ideology of his own, what sort of front will he build," Mr. Reddy said at a press conference here on Friday. "The attempt is only to grab power," he said adding that Mr. Naidu could not convincingly justify the need for a third front. Accused Mr. Naidu of "double talk" on free power supply, the BJP leader reminded that during his nine-year rule Mr. Naidu vehemently opposed free power to farmers. Regarding bird flu, Mr. Reddy demanded a CBI enquiry into how some persons with vested interest exploited the situation and `dumped' bird flu vaccine in the country.
