BHOPAL: Former State Minister Rajkumar Patel on Friday filed his nomination papers as a Congress candidate for the April 24 Budhni by-election for the Madhya Pradesh Assembly. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has already filed his papers as the Bharatiya Janata Party candidate for the seat. State Congress president Subhash Yadav, Union Minister Kantilal Bhuria, former State Ministers Ajay Singh, Harbans Singh and State Congress general secretary and spokesman Manak Agrawal were prominent among those who were with Mr. Patel when he went to the Sehore district headquarters in a procession to file his papers.
