Toddler falls to death

A six-month-old boy Mohd. Omer died after falling down from the top of table in his house at NTR Nagar in Kukatpally.

The boy sustained serious head injuries after falling down from the table on Thursday.

He was rushed to the Osmania General Hospital where he died while undergoing treatment on Friday.

Two girls commit suicide

Two girls ended their lives at Medchal and Humayunnagar on Friday. Daughter of a farmer, Kavitha, 16, appeared to be agitated about outcome of her exam results.

She doused herself in kerosene when the family members went out on work and set herself on fire in the house at Poduru.

She died was rushed to Mediciti hospital with serious burns but died while undergoing treatment after some time.

In another incident, a ninth standard student Jhansi Rani, 15, ended her life by torching herself in the house at S.B. Colony in Humayunnagar.

A suicide note stated: "I don't want to live in this world since everyone is hating me."

Man hangs himself

Reportedly dejected over refusal of his wife to live with him, a construction worker committed suicide by hanging in his house at Sanjay Gandhinagar in Jeedimetla on Friday.

Ch. Sreenu, 35, slipped into depression when his wife Jyothi left for the house of her parents 10 days following a dispute with him over a family matter, police said.
