BANGALORE: To clear extra rush on account of Easter and Vishu, South Western Railway will run superfast special trains between Bangalore city-Ernakulam-Bangalore city as follows: The 0637A Bangalore city-Ernakulam superfast special will leave Bangalore city at 5.15 p.m. and reach Ernakulam at 4.30 a.m. the next day. The train will have services from Bangalore city on April 8, April 10, April 12 and April 14. In the return direction, the 0638A Ernakulam-Bangalore city superfast special will leave Ernakulam at 5 p.m. and reach Bangalore city at 4.15 a.m. the next day. The train will have services from Ernakulam on April 9, April 11, April 13 and April 15.
Route
The train will run from Bangalore city via Bangalore Cantonment, Krishnarajapuram, Whitefield, Bangarpet, Kuppam, Tirupathur, Salem, Erode, Podanur, Palghat, Ottapalam, Trichur and Alwaye to reach Ernakulam. The train will have a composition of one three-tier AC coach, nine second class sleeper coaches, two general second class coaches and two second class sitting-cum-luggage vans.
