Naxals blow up tracks

K. Balchand

PATNA: Activists of the CPI (Maoist) blew up a cabin room, the tracks and traction wire as part of its bandh in the Magadh division of Bihar. But there was no casualty. The Railways had suspended train services in the two vulnerable sections.

The naxalites blew up the Bansinala Halt cabin after taking four employees hostage. The staff were subsequently released. The naxalites also blew up the tracks near the halt on the Gaya-Koderma section of the Howrah-Delhi route of the East Central Railway.
