Special train to Ernakulam for festival

South-Western railway to run Hubli-Kochuveli Weekly Express Special

HUBLI: South Western Railway will run super fast special trains between Bangalore city and Ernakulam to clear the extra rush for Easter and Vishu, a release said.

Accordingly, Bangalore-Ernakulam Super Fast Special (0637) will leave Bangalore at 5.15 p.m. and reach Ernakulam at 4.30 a.m. next day. The train was introduced on Saturday and will conclude on April 14. The dates of the services from Bangalore are April 10, 12 and 14. Ernakulam-Bangalore Super Fast Special (0638) will leave Ernakulam at 5 p.m. and reach Bangalore at 4.15 a.m. next day. The services of the train began on Sunday and will end on April 15. The dates of the services from Ernakulam are April 11, 13 and 15, the release said.

The railways will run weekly express special trains between Hubli and Kochuveli between April 11 and June 27.

Hubli-Kochuveli Weekly Express Special (0671) will leave Hubli at 1.45 p.m. on Tuesdays (service commencing from April 11 and concluding on June 27) and reach Kochuveli at 4.30 p.m. the next day. The dates of services of train from Hubli are April 11, 18, 25, May 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, June 6, 13, 20 and 27. Kochuveli-Hubli Weekly Express Special (0672) will leave Kochuveli at 12.45 p.m. on Thursdays and reach Hubli at 4.40 p.m. next day.

The services of the train will begin from April 13 fro Kochuveli and come to an end on June 29. The dates of the services of the train are April 13, 20, 27, May 4, 11, 18, 25, June 1, 8, 15 and 29.

South-Western Railway has increased the frequency of Miraj-Belgaum-Miraj Passenger Trains (377/ 378 and (379/380) to six days a week.
