Sedapatti Muthaiah joins DMK

CHENNAI:
Former Assembly Speaker and former All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam member, Sedapatti Muthaiah, met Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam president M.Karunanidhi here on Sunday and joined the DMK.
Bharatiya Janata Party member and MLA who represented Aranthangi constituency, P.Arasan, also joined the DMK.
Mr.Muthaiah said the style of functioning of the AIADMK general secretary Jayalalithaa was among the reasons that forced him to quit the party.
There were many other AIADMK men in the southern districts who were unhappy with Ms. Jayalalithaa, he claimed in a statement here.
