KOCHI: AICC general secretary in charge of Kerala Veerappa Moily has said that the attitude of the CPI(M) towards its allies will cost it dear in the Assembly election. Mr. Moily was speaking at Muvattupuzha on Sunday, after inaugurating the election convention of the UDF candidate, Johnny Nellore. "The CPI(M) is cheating its allies. Factions owing allegiance to V.S. Achuthanandan and Pinarayi Vijayan are at loggerheads even at the booth level. On the other hand, the return of the former allies has strengthened the UDF. The front will get at least 120 seats in the election." At the UDF election convention in Mattancherry on Sunday, Mr. Moily said the LDF manifesto was an anti-development document. UDF candidate V.K. Ebrahim Kunju also spoke.
