Aviation rolling trophies given away in Goa

PANAJI: Vice-Admiral Sangram Singh Byce, the Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Western Naval Command, has exhorted the naval staff to keep pace with technology.

He was addressing a gathering after giving away aviation rolling trophies for 2004-05 and reviewing the ceremonial parade at Hansa during his recent visit to the naval establishments here.

The Best Naval Air Squadron Trophy was given to Commander Ravi Sohonee, Commanding Officer of Air Squadron 336, and the runners-up trophy to Commander Sanjay Singh, Commanding Officer Air Squadron 318. The Chief of Naval Staff Trophy for the Best Frontline Squadron was awarded to Commander Ravi Sohonee, Commanding Officer of 336 Air Squadron. Commodore H.S. Girn, Flight Commander of 321 Garuda Flight, received the Best Flight Trophy.
