Authorisation for Khandre

Bangalore: The executive committee of the All-India Veerashaiva Mahasabha, which met here on Sunday, authorised mahasabha president Bheemanna Khandre to nominate office-bearers of the mahasabha for the next six years.

This was stated in a press <129>release by mahasabha secretary-general H.V. Nagendrappa.

The meeting of the executive committee was attended by <129>Veerashaiva leaders from Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka, Union Minister of State M.V. Rajasekharan, Janata Dal (Secular) leader N. Thippanna, the former Ministers <129>Vishwanath Reddy Mudnal, S.S. Patil and Rani Satish and Sri Shivayogishwara Swamiji of Bidar and Sri Shivananda Swamiji of Hulsoor.
