Lalgudi Jayaraman gets Narayanaswamy Award

Bangalore : Lalgudi G. Jayaraman, renowned violinist, has been selected for the Sri S.V. Narayanaswamy Rao National Award 2006. the award carries a cash prize of Rs. 50,000, a citation and a memento. The award will be presented to the musician on May 12 during the ongoing Sri Ramanavami celebrations at Fort High School grounds, Chamarajpet.
