BPCL to set up aviation refuelling station

KOZHIKHODE: Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) will set up its 21st aviation refuelling station at the Calicut Airport, Karipur, in September. The foundation for the project was laid on Tuesday. The BPCL Director (marketing), S. Radhakrishnan and other senior officials, including the Aviation Business Head, S. P. Mathur were present on the occasion. Mr. Mathur told presspersons in Kozhikode that the 400 kl capacity refuelling station would cost up to Rs. 2 crore. As of now, Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) have aviation stations at the airport, he said.
