HYDERABAD: The Afghanistan Government has invited Indian companies to invest in Kabul as it was in favour of joint ventures between the two countries. Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai, who was in the city on Tuesday, assured Indian entrepreneurs that his Government would provide the necessary planning, facilities and other support required. "We want you to pass on the high technology education to us and invest with us," he said. He visited the Cyber Towers to have first hand knowledge about the developments on the Information Technology front. Officials of L&T, the joint promoters of Cyber Towers, made a presentation on the facilities being offered to IT companies coming forward to invest in Andhra Pradesh. Describing the developments in India as a welcome sign, he appreciated India for progressing and achieving great heights in a short span of time.
