Gurpreet to lead team to Italy

Chennai: Setter Gurpreet Singh of Haryana will lead the Indian junior men's volleyball team in the 24th Memorial Ferruccio Cornacchia tournament, to be held in Italy from April 14 to 17.

Apart from India, Germany, Switzerland, Brazil, Belgium, the U.S., Austria, Romania, Luxemburg, Algeria, Netherlands, the U.K., Hungary and San Marino teams are taking part in the event.

The team: Ukkrapandian, K. Karthikeyan (TN), G. Pradeep, Sudarshan Varma (Railways), Sube Singh (Haryana), Gurbinder Singh, Mandeep Singh, Gurchand Singh (Punjab), Pruthiviraj (Karnataka), Gurbinder Singh (Chandigarh) and B. Sathish (AP).
