Rs. 42 cr. to be spent to beautify Kadapa

KADAPA: Kadapa town will be beautified with an outlay of Rs. 42 crores, Mayor P. Ravindranath Reddy said on Tuesday.

He said Buggavanka stream course was being beautified and widened at a cost of Rs. 33 crores and underground drainage system being executed at an outlay of Rs. 65 crores, he said. The Mayor opened a cool water centre, organised by the corporation and People's Seva Sangh, at Seven Roads junction. He called upon voluntary organisations to set up more cool water centres in the town for the benefit of people. Municipal Commissioner S. Aleem Basha said efforts were being made to ensure abundant water supply in the town. Samithi president R. Kodandarami Reddy, vice-president M. Madhavi and Nagara Seva Samithi president M. Babu took part.
